We're back!
We're all moved in now and getting settled. Corey has most of the painting done. Some of the wallpaper does not want to come down! Poor Ethan is still stuck with that horrible orange flower wall! We got the other walls in his room painted and most of his stuff hung up. Miles' room is pretty much just a playroom right now. We know what we want to do in there, but we don't have extra money to do it yet. It will happen over the summer, I hope. Our room was just painted on Wednesday. I can start hanging stuff up on the walls now. Besides Ethan's room, all our walls are blank. Here's a look of our first weekend in our new place. Ethan went to an amusement park for his birthday and we hung out in the yard. It was SO hot!
Ethan turned 11 this month. I can't believe how fast he is growing up! We celebrated his birthday the night before, so we could all be there for cake and presents. Ethan's friend came over to play in the afternoon and stayed for dinner. I made spaghetti, Ethan's favorite. Jimmy and Steve came by to eat and give Ethan his present-a ping pong table! The garage is now the "game room" and they've come by a couple times to hang out and play.
