The Covington Family

Our trip to California was awesome! It had been seven years since I had a Gaeta Thanksgiving. I was missing everyone so much, especially grandpa and my sisters. It was so good to see everyone again and finally meet Jacob! What a cutie!

For Ethan, the trip seemed to be about the Wii. He played it the whole time we were with Carolyn and Wes. The highlight of the trip for him, though, was checking out the Blackhawk Car Museum. It was a dream come true for Ethan. Although I don't care much for cars, wild horses couldn't drag me away! Watching him was priceless!

Jacob and Miles hit it off right away! I can tell they'll be buddies for life! Miles was excited to have someone his age to play with. They got along so well, too!

Wes and Care, thanks for everything! And Jacob, thanks for letting Miles come and play with all your toys! You we're even nice enough to share daddy. You are such a sweet boy!



We can't wait to go back!

Corey had a birthday this week! He got off work early, and I was home for the second day with the boys, who had colds. Jimmy and Steve took us out to The Outback Steakhouse for a yummy dinner. I was starting to go crazy from being home and the kids were well enough to finish the job, so it was a welcome invitation!

Can you believe Halloween's already come and gone? Ethan and Miles had so much fun trick-or-treating. Ethan was all business and was determined to fill his bag! I practiced saying "trick-or-treat" with Miles and when he wanted to he would say "treat" to get candy. Jimmy and Steve dressed up, too! Jimmy (angel) wanted to go take the kids out, so I got to stay and hang out with Steve (devil). They even convinced Corey to dress up! I had to take a picture, I don't know if I'll ever see him in a costume again!
